Born on February 7, 1967 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Kay Ella Jones, of Great Mills, MD and the late Dennis Vernon.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her children, Destiny Sweet, Hillary Vallandingham, Jessica Jones and Jerry Alvey all of Dameron, MD, two sisters, Brandy Weeks, of Mechanicsville, MD and Shelia Vernon of Great Mills, MD, two brothers, Jay Jones III of Mechanicsville, MD and Kenneth Jones of Great Mills, MD. A son Kenneth Sweet III preceded her in death.
Friends may call on Friday, November 7, 2003 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD. Prayers will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Daniel Moore will officiate. Interment will follow in the Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
