Olga Edith Fielder, 94, of La Plata died February 24, 2003 at her home. She was an assistant administrator for the Department of Agriculture. Born December 31, 1908 in Greenbrier, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late William Steve Spears and the late Lona Mobbs Spears. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Ralph John Fielder; also three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Anna Dell Fielder Sanders of Punta Gorda, Fl.; brother, Lou Spears of Charleston, West Virginia; sister, Daris L. Rooker of Annapolis, Md.; son-in-law, Robert Sanders of Punta Gorda, Fl.; grandchildren, David L. Sanders, Carolyn Sanders Walsh, Ashley Sanders, Cheri Sanders, and Jim Walsh; great-grandchildren, Kimberly A. Sanders, Daniel Walsh. Visitation will be Wed. Feb. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata, a mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata.
