Born on October 2, 1947 in Grand Forks, ND, he was the son of the late Robert Louis and Fern E. Rinehardt Brown.
Mr. Brown was a member of the SAYSF Bible Church. He was employed as a Mechanical Engineer at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. He enjoyed scuba diving, traveling, swimming, coin and stamp collecting. His greatest love and enjoyment was his God and his family.
He is survived by his wife Josephine M. ?Joey? Brown whom he married on November 7, 1970 in Whidbey Island, WA, four children, Nicky L. Brown of Hagerstown, MD, Ruth M. Brown of Richmond, VA, David R. Brown and wife Katie of Lexington Park, MD and Jeremy R. Brown and Fiancé Megan Lafferty of Beauford, SC, three sisters, Diana Schwartz of Hopkins, MN, Carol Michelson of Minneapolis, MN and Nancy Brown of Eden Prairie, MN.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 13, 2004 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 14, at 10:30 am at the Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD. The Reverend Rodney Spade will officiate.
Pallbearers for Mr. Brown will be Phil Benes, Peter Chypyha, John Gifford, Harry Wallace, Dave Brown and Jeremy Brown.
