Robert John Wirth, 58, of Hollywood, MD passed away on January 19, 2021 at his home.
He was born on October 17, 1962 in Patuxent River, MD to Mildred Fye Wirth of Hollywood, MD and the late Robert Wirth.
Robert worked as a skilled appliance repairman for many years. He enjoyed working on the older model appliances. He collected antique musical instruments, and was partial to the Victrola he owned. He enjoyed listening to music and playing the trombone. He often went to the Byrd Theater in Virginia to listen to the organ being played. He was the primary caretaker for his mother until recently when she suffered a devastating stroke. He treated with respect, love and compassion. He was a delicious cook. He loved his pet cats, Geraldine and Esther.
In addition to his mother, Robert is also survived by his siblings: Sue Roberta Harris of Gloucester, VA; Judy Sager (Rudi) of Laurel, MD and James Wirth (Stewart) of Virginia Beach, VA; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father and his brother, Stephen Wirth.
