Born on June 29, 1951 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Robert Henry and Marie Theresa Benz Sievers. He was a Physical Scientist for the Federal Government. He also worked at Pax River for 3 years. He was of catholic faith and a member of St. Aloysius. He also was the President of Mechanicsville Optimist Club; a member of Men?s Club, on a committee for Shop with a Cop, Boy Scout Leader of Troop 241 and President of Athletic association and coached several sports teams in St. Louis.
Survived by his wife, Laurie ?Ralls? Sievers, daughter; Vicki Sievers, sons; Bobby Sievers, Mike Sievers and wife, Becky, sister; Rose Marie D?Angelo, and a granddaughter; Emma Sievers.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD with Optimist prayers at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Rosary St. Louis, MO. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, St. Louis.
