Rose Marie Humphrey, 77, of Welcome died Dec. 26, 2003, at Civista Medical Center, La Plata. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Catherine’s Church, McConchie. Born Nov. 10, 1926, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Arthur Pepin and the late Catherine Regina Pepin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Colon Beamen Humphrey; son, Randall Humphrey; and daughter, Theresa Lynn Humphrey. She is survived by her sons, Arthur Bruce Humphrey and Timothy F. Humphrey; daughter, Mary Helen Laing; sister, Delores Pettitt; grandchildren, Jaime, Tony, Amanda, Christiana, Christina, Derek; and great-grandchildren, Tavian and Terrance. Visitation was held 2-4p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with services at 7 p.m., Dec. 30 at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home. La Plata. Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Jan. 15 at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
