Vera V. Colona, 81, of Partlow, Va., died April 10, 2003, at her home. She worked for the Federal Reserve with the federal government. She was a member of the Moose Logde. Born Dec. 11, 1921, in Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Walters and the late Maudie Walters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Colon; sister, Ina Draper; and grandson, Michael Dulin. She is survived by her son Larry E. Dulin; daughter-in-law, Larissa Dulin of Partlow, Va.; brothers, Ivis G. Walters of Johnson City, Tenn., Ralph S. Walters of Apison, Tenn.; sister, Velma Black of Jonesbourgh, Tenn.; four grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Services were held April 14 at Arehart-Echols Funeral HOme, La Plata. The Rev. Tim Bean officiated. Burial took place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf. Pallbearers were Danny Dulin, George Dulin, Jonathon Dulin, Bryan Dulin, Stacy Coombs, and Paul Walters. Arrangements are being handled by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home.
