William Richard Stevens, Jr., affectionately known to all as “Bill” or “Mudd” 60 of Lexington Park, MD passed away peacefully at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 11, 1955 to the late Mary Lettie (Hill) Stevens and William Richard Stevens, Sr. Bill met the love of his life, Phyllis Mae (Fenwick) and on July 28, 1979, they were united in holy matrimony. From this union, they were blessed with one son.

Bill was educated in the St. Maryโ€™s County Public School System, where he graduated from Chopticon High School. After graduation he was employed by Dean Lumber Company where he worked for over 40 years, before retiring in 2014. In addition, he was a part-time custodian with B&B Maintenance for 10 years.
