Authorities in St. Mary’s County are investigating a motor vehicle accident in Lexington Park involving a pizza delivery vehicle.
Rescue crews responded to 21765 Great Mills Road near Shangri La Drive on Sunday, Nov. 28 around 7:25 p.m., for report of an accident with injuries. Crews arrived on the scene to discover two vehicles involved to include a red Mitsubishi Lancer and a blue Ford Focus, a Pizza Hut delivery man.
One patient in the Ford Focus was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Mitsubishi Lancer was determined to be at fault and was ticketed on the scene.
