At 6:50 a.m., yesterday, November 14, Charles County Sheriffโ€™s officers responded to McDonough High School located at 7165 Marshall Corner Road in Pomfret for the report of a bomb threat.

Investigation revealed a suspect called the school and made the threat. The schoolโ€™s principal evacuated faculty, staff and students who had arrived at the school.

Sgt. V. Weaver, Cpl. R. Leukhardt and their K9 partners searched the building and did not locate any explosives or suspicious items. Faculty and students were allowed back in the school at 8:41 a.m.
