Burglars Make Smoke Break in Charles
Sometime between 7:30 p.m. Dec. 7 and 5:30 a.m. Dec. 8, suspect(s) forced entry into Grey Brothers Store at 4000 Chicamuxen Road, in Marbury, through a side window.
They stole multiple cartons of cigarettes. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-743-2222. Officer R. A. Gilroy is investigating.
No Catch on Ketch
On Dec. 5, Cpl. Bomgardner responded to the Calvert Industrial Park on Ketch Road in Prince Frederick in reference to a theft complaint. The victim reported that someone had broken into his business vehicle sometime between 4:00 p.m. on Dec. 3 and 7:00 a.m. on Dec. 5. A $250.00 CD player was stolen.
