Waldorf, MD–ATTEMPT BANK ROBBERY: On Dec. 7 at 3:15 p.m., a man entered the Wells Fargo Bank in the 3000 block of Waldorf Market Place in Waldorf. He approached a teller and passed a note demanding money.
The teller panicked and returned the note to the suspect without giving him any cash. The suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, possibly in his twenties to thirties, 5’9″ to 5’11”, with a medium build.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black knit hat, dark jacket, white tennis shoes and tan or green pants. Officers canvassed the area and are working on leads. Det. C. Gregory is investigating.
