Lexington Park, MD – At approximately 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 29, a utility truck traveling on Three Notch Road north of Kesslers Way veered off the road and struck a tree. Crash investigators said the truck, which was hauling barrier fence segments, caught on fire after leaving the road. The truck’s three occupants escaped the burning vehicle with the aid of passers-by. One of the occupants was transported to an area hospital.
No names have been released. The incident is under investigation and a report is pending.
