The Patuxent Partnership has relocated. The official ribbon cutting occurred Thursday for their new office at 22335 Exploration Drive, Suite 1035 in Lexington Perk. The office gives the organization a location in the heart of the areaโs contracting community.
The Patuxent Partnership (TPP) is a membership organization made up of government contractors, community businesses and others. According to their website, www.paxpartnership.org โThe Patuxent Partnership works with government, industry and academia on initiatives in science and technology, hosts programs of interest to NAVAIR and the broader DoD community, and supports workforce development including education initiatives and professional development.โ
The Patuxent Partnership was formerly located in a second-floor office in the heart of Lexington Park near Gate 2. The new office puts the organization closer to the baseโs main gate, Gate 1. Unlike the former office it is on the ground floor and is ADA-compliant.
โThe Board has long considered relocating, and we are very pleased with our new office space and location,โ said TPP Board of Directors President Karen Garner.
The ribbon cutting was jointly sponsored by the St. Maryโs County Chamber of Commerce. On hand were three of the five county commissioners (Russell, Jones and Morgan), County Administrator Rebecca Bridgett, Chamber CEO Bill Scarafia and a number of TPP board members.
During the ceremony the commissioners presented TPP Executive Director Bonnie Green with a county seal to hang on their new walls. A reception with food and drink followed the ribbon cutting.
