Traffic advisory – Crews dispatched to accident

Lexington Park, MD – At 10:25 a.m. crews from St. Mary’s County were dispatched to the scene of an automobile crash at the Three Notch Road – Pegg Road intersection.

Reports from the scene have indicated all southbound lanes of Three Notch Road (Route 235) were initially blocked in the vicinity of the accident, a T-bone style collision. 

Sources on the scene reported that two injured motorists were flown from the scene to an area trauma center.

The crash remains under investigation.
