On July 12 the Maryland State Police responded to a burglary of a residence on Leachburg Road in Lexington Park.
The investigation was forwarded to the St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations. The BCI investigation revealed that Christopher Leon Watson, 18 of Lexington Park, had burglarized the residence on July 12 and again on July 26 – both times forcing entry into the residence and stealing various valuable items.
On July 26th BCI detectives arrested Watson and charged him with 2 counts of Burglary First Degree, Theft Over $500, and Theft Under $500.
He was incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center awaiting an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
