On Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 3:30am, Tpr. B. T. Wiesemann initiated a traffic stop on a red Chrysler in the area of Maryland Route 249 and Route 5 for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the vehicle, the operator, Jacob Clarke Page, 18, of Hollywood was identified along with a female juvenile, 16, of California who was the front seat passenger. While identifying the occupants, Tpr. Wiesemann observed in plain view CDS on the lap of the female juvenile.  Information provided by the juvenile and Mr. Page resulted in the arrest of both subjects for CDS Possession. Upon the arrival of additional law enforcement units, a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted on the vehicle and remaining occupants. A male juvenile, 17, of Mechanicsville was subsequently arrested when found in possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. Two male juveniles, also passengers in the vehicle were released from the scene to a guardian after being issued civil citations for underage drinking. Both the female and male juveniles arrested for Possession of CDS were transported to the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack, processed and released to guardians pending further action by juvenile services. Mr. Page was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
