
LUSBY, Md. — Two people were injured following a two-vehicle crash Friday morning outside Dowell Elementary School.
The incident was reported at approximately 9:07 a.m. on April 17, 2026, in the area of 12680 H.G. Trueman Road in Lusby. Initial reports indicate the crash occurred as vehicles were turning into the school entrance.
Emergency communications advised that one individual was experiencing a seizure, while another sustained leg and chest injuries.
Officials reported that two vehicles were involved and two people were injured. No one was trapped or pinned inside the vehicles.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported two patients by ambulance to CalvertHealth Medical Center for treatment.
The crash occurred during peak morning school traffic, and motorists were urged to use caution in the area.
