All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast To Benefit Second District Volunteer Fire Department And Rescue Squad

VALLEY LEE, Md. — Residents looking for a hearty breakfast and a good cause will gather Sunday, Oct. 12, at the Second District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad Social Hall for an all-you-can-eat, home-style breakfast fundraiser.

Hosted by the department’s Auxiliary, the event runs from 8 to 11 a.m. at 45245 Drayden Road in Valley Lee. The menu includes scrambled eggs, home-fried potatoes, pancakes, French toast, sausage links, ham, bacon, creamed chipped beef, sausage gravy, spiced applesauce, grits and biscuits. Juices, milk and coffee will also be served.

Admission is $14 for adults and $7 for children ages 6 to 12, while children 5 and under eat free.

Proceeds will benefit the Second District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, helping fund equipment, training and operations that keep first responders ready to serve the community.
