Annmarie Garden offers family fun for the summer season.

Free activities are offered daily. Activities include Artsy Scavenger Hunts, Sculpture Scavenger Hunts, Grab a Toddler Tours and more. Guides are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The new Sunday FUNday series happens every Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. Families are invited to participate in a hands-on art project that can be taken home to enjoy.

This year’s public art project, Stick Together, allows visitors to transform fallen twigs and branches into a colorful piece of sculpture with twine, shells, feathers and other natural materials. Creations are placed among an ever-growing serpentine earthwork throughout the loblolly forest. Visitors may participate in this free project daily through the end of August. The completed installation will remain on display through the fall.

The Garden also has a new arts building for visitors to enjoy indoor activities. These activities compliment the current art exhibits and help visitors engage with the art through drawing, building, and creative writing exercises.

Beat the heat with a variety of art classes for adults and children, a year-round feature at Annmarie Garden’s new Studio School.

A list of upcoming classes and workshops can be found at the Annmarie Garden Web site.
