Arby’s Armed Robber Apprehended by BCI

On Jan. 10 the Arby’s Restaurant on Great Mill’s Road in Lexington Park was robbed at gunpoint.  An investigation by Detectives from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations led to the execution of a Search and Seizure Warrant, on Jan. 28, at the residence of Louis Leon Hurt, 37, of Lexington Park.

Hurt was subsequently arrested and charged with 2 counts of Armed Robbery, 2 counts of First Degree Assault, 2 counts of Second Degree Assault and Theft over $1000.

Andrea C. Jordan

Following the arrest of Hurt, Andrea C. Jordan (relative of Hurt), 34 of Lexington Park became disorderly and was subsequently arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Hindering an Investigation.

Both Hurt and Jordan were incarcerated in the Detention Center pending a bond hearing before the District Court Commissioner.
