Deputy Kevin Meyer responded to a California Store for the reported assault.
Upon arrival he found that the suspect, Stanley Iguatius Armstrong Jr. (Age 38 of Mechanicsville) had been in an altercation with the victim.
Suspect Armstrong Jr. approached the vehicle and spit in the victim’s face, before going inside the store. The suspect was located and as he was interviewed he was belligerent and uncooperative.
Suspect Armstrong Jr. shouted profanities and was advised he was under arrested. He violently resisted, but was placed into custody. He was charged with numerous counts.
