For the fourth installment of the 2014-15 VOICES Reading Series at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, author Robin Bates will read from his works on Thursday, Dec. 11, at 8:15 p.m. in Daugherty-Palmer Commons. After the reading, Bates will talk with the audience during a brief question and answer period, followed by a reception and book signing. Bates is author of the book “How Beowulf Can Save America: An Epic Hero’s Guide to Defeating the Politics of Rage.” He also blogs daily at betterlivingthroughbeowulf.com
The VOICES Reading Series, presented in part by the English Department, is free and open to the public. Following Bates, new writers will be featured starting spring 2015.
