Vice Narcotics Detectives continue to make arrests related to the distribution of illegal substances at a Sandgates business.
Michael James Luber, 26 of Great Mills, was arrested by Vice Narcotics Support Team Members on an open Grand Jury Indictment. The Indictment charges he possessed conspired and distributed prescription medication. The cases will continue to be reviewed by Stateโs Attorney Richard D. Fritz to determine if additional arrests will take place. Suspect Luber is currently awaiting a bond review and is in a โNo Bondโ status. ย ย ย ย ย ย ย
Nicholas Alexander Stubbs, 20 of Lexington Park, turned himself in after Vice Narcotics Support Team Members attempted to locate him at his home. Suspect Stubbs was indicted by Vice Narcotics Detectives after a Stateโs Attorney review of the facts surrounding his manufacturing marijuana. Suspect Stubbs was apprehended when he arrived to tend to his marijuana plants.

Joseph Darnell Ransom Jr., 42 of Mechanicsville, was charged with possession of marijuana through the District Court. Suspect Ransom was found to be in possession of marijuana while present during a search warrant being executed on a residence. He is awaiting a preliminary hearing in the District Court.ย

ย Vice Narcotics Detectives observed Suspect John Bernard Quade aka โJBโ, 32 of California, in a business parking lot and during the surveillance watched Suspect Quade make contact with two other men. A transaction took place and detectives conducted a stop on the suspect. A search revealed 10 Oxycontin pills valued at $400. Suspect Quade was arrested and his vehicle was seized. The vehicle is a 1997 BMW valued at $7.5000. Additional charges are pending a Stateโs Attorney review. ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย
