HOLLYWOOD, Md. – Bill Cosby has been convicted of three counts of sexual assault after a jury found him guilty of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 2004.
The focus of the trial was on Andrea Constand who testified that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her in his home 14 years ago. According to Cosby’s defense team, the incident was consensual. Cosby will remain free on bail until his sentencing date. As the prosecution discussed revoking his bail due to flight risk, Cosby shouted “He doesn’t have a plane, you asshole!” in outburst.
Cosby faces up to 10 years in prison and fine up to $25,000 per count.
