BENEDICT, Md. – The 12th Annual Breakfast at Sniffany’s, Southern Maryland’s beloved dog friendly brunch and auction fundraiser, will take place Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Serenity Farm in Benedict.
Founded by Heather Maertens, owner of Maertens Fine Jewelry in Solomons, the event has grown into a popular community tradition welcoming more than 200 guests and their four legged companions each year. To date, Breakfast at Sniffany’s has raised over $200,000 to support animal rescue organizations across Southern Maryland.

Guests will enjoy a delicious brunch buffet from Caney Creek Catering while their furry companions delight in a gourmet dog treat buffet provided by Leia’s Treats. The Serenity Farm barn becomes a bright and welcoming gathering space for the day, transformed with cheerful pet themed décor that creates a fun and festive atmosphere.
The morning will also feature contests for Smallest Dog, Largest Dog, Best Dressed Pet, and Best Trick, along with a fabulous silent auction and exciting live auction.

One hundred percent of the net proceeds from Breakfast at Sniffany’s are donated directly to the participating rescue organizations.
The 2026 beneficiaries include Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland, Friends of Felines, Humane Society of Calvert County, Just One More Dachshund Rescue, Miri’s Haven Senior Dog Rescue, and Pets with Disabilities.

Tickets are available at sniffanys.info. Sponsorship opportunities and auction donations are still being accepted.
