On July 4, Deputy Scott Ruest responded to a residence at Valley Court to check the welfare call.

Deputy Ruest contacted the victim. He told a Wayne Aloyious Jordan Jr., 18 of Lexington Park, broke into and entered her residence by kicking the door in. The victim stated the defendant believed he was owed money and came to the residence to collect the money. When refused entrance into the residence, Jordan broke into and entered the residence damaging the front door frame.

Jordan fled the residence prior to the arrival of deputies, but was located a short time later, arrested and charged with third degree burglary and destruction of property.
