Lexington Park, MD— On May 26, St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Cpl. Corcoran was contacted by individuals on South Essex Drive in Lexington Park, who reported the discovery of five handguns that were missing from a residence.ย

The complainants had confronted the defendant who had recently come over to stay at the residence. “The defendant admitted to them (victims) that he took the guns and later pawned them at a pawn shop in Charles County,” according to charging documents.ย

The defendant was identified as William T. Mclaren, 34, of Lexington Park. Mclaren told the victims that he would get the guns back.
