Lexington Park, MD – Brush fire trucks were dispatched Monday afternoon, April 6 to a wooded area off Hermanville Road in St. Mary’s County. The blaze was one of a spate of brush fires Southern Maryland responders have been sent to due to gusty winds and dry conditions. Residents are advised to use extreme caution or forgo the controlled burning of vegetation as long as these conditions persist.
There has been a reported brush fire on Hermanville Road. Use caution in the area.
