MECHANICSVILLE, Md. — The community is invited to Suttler Post Farm’s 6th Annual Holiday Open House, taking place Dec. 14 and 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., to benefit Hospice of St. Mary’s. This year’s event promises to be a festive gathering with more than 30 craft and goods vendors, food trucks, pony rides, raffle baskets, a bake sale, and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds from the event will support the hospice house in Callaway, with specific upgrades earmarked for outdoor patio furniture, sunshades, and other necessary projects.
A highlight of this year’s event is a partnership with Guy Distributing, which will showcase the famous Budweiser Clydesdales. Guests will have the unique opportunity to see 18 Clydesdales in one location, making it a perfect outing for families and friends.
Organizers anticipate upwards of 5,000 attendees over the two-day event and emphasize that ample parking will be available. A dedicated team of volunteers will manage parking logistics.

Suttler Post Farm Clydesdales has significantly contributed to Hospice of St. Mary’s, donating more than $175,000 in the last five years. This support would not be possible without the community’s dedication to the cause. Wayne Mast, owner of the farm, expressed his desire to host an event that not only shares the beauty of his Clydesdales but also raises funds for hospice services. The mission resonates deeply with Mast, as both of his parents received hospice care.
Admission to the Holiday Open House is $10, with all proceeds benefiting the hospice. Various sponsorship levels are available to ensure the event’s success. The community is encouraged to participate in this enjoyable and meaningful occasion to support a worthy cause.
