LEONARDTOWN, Md., — Emergency personnel responded to a motor vehicle collision reported at approximately 4:29 p.m. in the area of 40365 Busy Corner Road, near Loveville Road, in Leonardtown.
Initial reports indicated a single-vehicle rollover collision with possible entrapment. The vehicle was reported to have overturned, and multiple callers contacted emergency services. Fire and rescue units responded to the scene to assess the situation and secure the area.
Upon arrival, units on scene determined that there was no entrapment. The sole occupant of the vehicle declined evaluation and transport by EMS.
Due to the collision, Busy Corner Road in the area of Loveville Road is currently closed. Motorists are advised to use Point Lookout Road as an alternate route. The roadway closure is expected to remain in place for approximately one hour while crews work on scene.
