Calvert Concept Charitable Corporation (C4) Receives Juneteenth Grant From All SaintsParish Calvert Arts Festival

CALVERT COUNTY, Md. — During the Juneteenth celebration in Calvert County, the Calvert Concept Charitable Corporation (C4) was honored to receive a $4,050 grant from All Saints Parish, presented by The Rev. Andrew Rutledge, Rector of All Saints Episcopal Church. The grant represents proceeds from the May 2025 Calvert Arts Festival, held on the church campus and distributed among five local charities, including C4.

The grant handoff took place at the C4 booth and served as a meaningful moment of solidarity and community support. Volunteers, supporters, and attendees gathered as Rev. Rutledge presented the check to C4 representatives — a photo opportunity underscoring the spirit of Juneteenth and ongoing commitment to social justice.

The grant directly supports C4’s mission to empower individuals facing economic hardship — particularly descendants of enslaved people in Calvert County, Native Americans, and local public servants priced out of the communities they serve. Funds will be allocated exclusively to C4 Client Members, primarily through savings-match programs for home and business ownership and incentive awards for financial progress.

“We are very grateful for this generous grant by the Calvert Arts Festival sponsored by All Saints Parish,” said Kip At Lee, President of C4. “Their support of the Calvert Concept is indispensable for the continuing success of our mission to correct past and present injustices.”

“All Saints Parish believes that we all have an obligation to serve our neighbors,” said Rev. Andrew Rutledge. “Being able to do so in partnership with C4 provides an important way to help people previously denied a fair opportunity build financial stability for generations.”

C4 extends its deepest appreciation to All Saints Parish, the Calvert Arts Festival organizers, and the broader community — including the NAACP and other local leaders — whose dedication to equity and inclusion continues to make lasting impacts.
