Just after 8:30 p.m. last night the Food Lion in Charlotte Hall (St. Mary’s County) had a silent hold-up alarm. It was confirmed the grocery store was held up. As of this writing, the only description is that the food store was held up by a white male 5-11 to 6-1 tall, 150 to 160 lbs., wearing Jean shorts, orange shirt, bandana around his neck, and a red ball cap. There are unconfirmed reports that the man carried a weapon. Other unconfirmed reports state that the man fled into the woods behind Food Lion and another report stated the man may have left in an older white Ford with tape covering the vehicle’s tag.
Police are looking for the suspect now
