Charlotte Hall Man Killed After Car Strikes Guardrail, Tree In Anne Arundel County

PASADENA, Md. — A 33-year-old Charlotte Hall man died Monday night after a single-vehicle crash in Anne Arundel County.

Emergency personnel and Anne Arundel County police responded at approximately 10:30 p.m. July 27, 2026, to Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard west of Governor Ritchie Highway.

A preliminary investigation found a 2020 Mazda 3 was traveling southbound on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard when the driver failed to negotiate a left turn in the roadway.

The Mazda left the road and struck a guardrail and a tree.

Members of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department pronounced the driver dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Team processed the scene and is investigating the crash.
