UPDATE- The two-year-old boy who was yanked into a lagoon by an alligator near the Grand Floridian Hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort has died, authorities confirm. The remains of the boy were found by the Orange County dive team.

Orlando, FL – A two-year-old boy was dragged into the water by an alligator Tuesday night at the Grand Floridian Hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort. The boy has yet to be found.
According to the Orange County Sheriff, the alligator attacked the child—who was approximately a foot away from shore—while the family was relaxing on the beach. After noticing the gator tussling with his son, the father frantically ran into the water and tried in vain to pull the boy away from the gator.
“We’re not leaving until the boy is found,” the sheriff stated.
The Orange County Sheriff and the Florida Fish Wildlife Conservation Commission have begun a joint investigation into the incident.
“We’re putting every effort into locating this child and trapping this alligator,” said Florida Conservation Commission officer Chad Webber.
