Update July 17, 11:44 a.m.
On Friday, July 17 at about 10:35 a.m., units responded to an auto accident on Wilson Road in Prince Frederick.
As units arrived on the scene they found a single vehicle accident, where the vehicle went off roadway and struck a power pole. The pole was snapped just above ground level from the impact of the vehicle.
There are no reports of anyone being transported to hospital. The police have this area of Wilson Road closed until power company can arrive and evaluate the situation.
Road closed in the area of 70 Wilson Rd both directions due to an auto accident, pole down and needs to be replaced. Smeco advised.
