
BRYANS ROAD, Md. — One person was airlifted Monday night after a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a Polaris Slingshot in Bryans Road.
Emergency crews responded at approximately 8:33 p.m. July 27, 2026, to Indian Head Highway at St. Dunstan Road.
Initial reports indicated the driver of the Slingshot was ejected during the collision. Fire and EMS personnel treated the patient at the scene while a medevac helicopter was requested.
Crews established a landing zone near Indian Head Highway and Camp Hedges Place.
Maryland State Police Aviation Command Trooper 2 flew the patient to UM Capital Region Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
