SEVERN, Md. – On May 23, 2018 at approximately 9:25 a.m., officers responded for an attempted armed robbery at the CVS located at 2600 Annapolis Road in Severn. The suspect entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded cash from the cashier. The cashier shouted, causing the suspect to flee. The suspect, who did not obtain any money from the cashier, ran toward Disney Road. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect has been described as a white male, approximately 25-35 years old, 5’7”-5’8”, wearing khaki shorts, black jacket with red and white stripes, sunglasses, and a dark colored hat with a white logo.
