Lusby, MD – Calvert County Commissioner Mike Hart, owner of Patuxent Wine and Spirits in Lusby, had a customer seen on a store camera remove and conceal some merchandise. Hart reported late Friday night, Feb. 24 that the perpetrator had been caught by Calvert County Sheriff’s Office deputies in the Solomons area shortly after the theft occurred.
According to the surveillance camera, the incident occurred around 6:28 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24. Hart shared his video with Facebook, which got 80 shares and over 2,400 views.
“You guys are awesome I’m heading to the sheriff’s department to press charges,” Hart stated on Facebook. “Calvert County Sheriff’s Department and the correctional officers are the absolute best.”
