The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and Crime Solvers is seeking the identity of the person pictured above who between Thursday, August 1st at 11:00 PM and Friday, August 2, 2013 at 5:30 AM stole the victim’s blue 2012 Hyundai Sonata with a set of spare keys taken from another car belonging to the victim.
The vehicle was recovered on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the area of Three Notch Rd & St. Jeromes Neck Rd. This picture was taken of the suspect as he tried to use the victim’s credit card at the Cedar Point ATM outside of the Ridge Market, 13270 Point Lookout Rd. Ridge, MD 20680.
Anyone with information regarding the theft or can identify the subject are asked to call Detective Ruest at 301-475-4200 extension 2297 or Crime Solvers at 301-475-3333. Tipsters can text their tips to “TIP239” plus your message to “CRIMES” (274637). Callers and tipsters do not have to leave a name, just the information. If the information leads to the arrest and conviction, the caller/tipster may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
