At 8:39 p.m. April 13, Charles County Sheriffโ€™s officers responded to the 7000 block of Glen Albin Road in La Plata for the report of an armed robbery and carjacking.

Investigation revealed the victim was attempting to deliver food to a residence when he was approached by two male suspects armed with handguns. The suspects ordered the victim out of his vehicle and demanded money.

The victim complied and the suspects stole his money and entered his vehicle. Two other suspects then came from a wooded area nearby and entered the victimโ€™s vehicle, too, and the four suspects fled the scene.

At 11:14 p.m. that evening, Cpl. J. Hastings was patrolling the parking lot of Walter J. Mitchell Elementary School located at 400 Willow Lane in La Plata when he discovered the victimโ€™s stolen vehicle, a brown 2004 Honda Civic.

The suspects in the armed robbery are described as black males wearing white shirts and shorts. Two of the suspects are between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall. Three of the suspects are possibly in their 20s and the fourth suspect is described as being younger and short.
