At 12:05 p.m. Nov. 26, Officer J. Clagett of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Crain Highway near South Faulkner Road in Faulkner on a vehicle that was driving in the center of the road with its flashers on.
Officer Clagett determined the driver was intoxicated. The driver was arrested and identified as Stephen Bryant Goodson, 61, of Largo.
He was charged with driving while impaired, driving under the influence and consuming an alcoholic beverage while driving a motor vehicle.
Goodson was being held in the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the district court commissioner.
