Ever wonder what it feels like to sit front and center at the biggest concerts in Southern Maryland? Eric Dietz from North Carolina will find out for himself at the Calvert Marine Museum next summer! Dietz was the lucky winner of four front row seats and a reserved parking space right outside of the gate to all of the Waterside concerts for the 2018 summer season. These amazing Dream Seats were donated by long-time Calvert Marine Museum supporter Bozick Distributors.
For the last several years, Bozick Distributors/Coors Light has purchased four seats and has donated them back to the museum for a raffle – 100% of the proceeds benefit the museum. Bozick Distributors/Coors Light employees host the raffle at all of the Waterside concerts and sell tickets for $5 each or $10 for three. The Deitz’s $10 purchase of three raffle tickets won them over $1,200 in concert tickets.
At each concert, three names are drawn and the winners walk away with high-end Coors items such as outdoor umbrellas, chairs, and coolers. At the end of the concert season, all the names are combined and one is drawn to win the grand prize – the coveted Dream Seats.
The Waterside Concert Series at the Calvert Marine Museum has been providing the best names in entertainment for over 30 years. “Proceeds from the shows keep the museum’s programs going and the doors open; we have our local community to thank for that,” said Vanessa Gill, Director of Promotions. “But it is the sponsors who go the extra mile, like Joe Bozick and Kenny Irwin; they are always finding creative ways to raise additional funds to make the museum a better place for this community.”
Proceeds from the Waterside Concert Series support the education and preservation efforts of the Calvert Marine Museum.
