At 11:41 p.m. on May 27, Dep. Robert Burggraff responded to Golden West Way in Lusby in response to a destruction of property.
The victim advised that he was walking his dog earlier in the evening when he saw a compact truck drive past his house. He then heard what he described as paintball gunfire and heard something hitting his van. He went to investigate and found that a paintball had been shot at the left front fender of his vehicle.
The man washed the paint from the vehicle and there does not appear to be permanent damage. The truck is described as red, with auxiliary fog lamps and lights on the sun visor.
Dep. Burggraff will continue the investigation.
