On May 26, at 11:53 p.m., TFC M. B. Adams responded to Maple Road, east of Maryland Route 235 in Lexington Park for a reported motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 36 of Lexington Park, who advised the accident occurred when Michael Adam Brown, 41 of Lexington Park, struck her vehicle with the vehicle Brown was operating. The complainant advised this was a result of a previous argument. Brown was not on scene when units arrived, but later returned to provide a statement.
Brown was arrested for Fleeing the Scene of an Accident and Second-Degree Assault. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
