LEONARDTOWN, Md. – On September 18, 2024, at approximately 11:27 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident on Fairgrounds Road in the area of Cartwright Road.
Crews arrived and found a single vehicle off the roadway crashed into a utility pole with the sole occupant injured. EMS evaluated the patient at the scene and transported them to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
