
LUSBY, Md. — A Lusby man was arrested in connection with an assault and trespassing incident that occurred on February 10, 2026, in Calvert County.
Jason Joseph Baldwin II, 22, of Lusby, is charged with second-degree assault and trespass on private property.
Authorities allege Baldwin went to a residence on Clubhouse Drive after a dispute and remained on the property after being told to leave. During the encounter, Baldwin allegedly confronted the homeowner in the driveway and inside the residence, yelling and engaging in aggressive behavior.
The victim reported that Baldwin spit on him during the altercation and continued to refuse requests to leave the property. The incident occurred in the presence of family members, including children.
An arrest warrant was issued on February 20, 2026. Baldwin was taken into custody on February 24, 2026, and later released on his own recognizance.
A trial is set for March 26, 2026, in Calvert District Court.
