Jersey City, NJ – Life was not all Peeps and jelly beans for the Easter Bunny Sunday, March 20. The beloved bunny’s gig at a Jersey City shopping mall ended in chaos, after the rabbit and a disgruntled dad got into a fight.|

The bizarre scene was captured on video.

According to news wire reports, the dad “verbally and physically attacked the man who was playing the role of The Easter Bunny after the dad’s daughter slipped.” Both the dad and the “bunny” were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Authorities reported both men are being charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct and each also had outstanding warrants.

A spokesman for the Easter Bunny photo program said other employees have been assigned to fill in following the incident, which remains under investigation.
