Great Mills Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust

On  Feb. 10, at 12:47 a.m., Christina Ann Arnold, 31 of Lexington Park, was arrested by Tpr. J. Pilkerton for possession of marijuana.  Tpr. Pilkerton initiated a traffic stop on a maroon Nissan Maxima on Great Mills Road, at Point Lookout Road in Great Mills for a traffic violation. 

While speaking with the driver, Arnold, Tpr. Pilkerton observed a CDS smoking device in plain view.  Arnold was placed under arrest.  A search incident to the arrest also revealed Arnold was in possession of a small baggie of marijuana. 

Arnold was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
