The current pool, in service for more than four decades, will be demolished. In its place will be a new, $4 million outdoor pool complex.

The construction is expected to take about eight months to complete in time to open on Memorial Day 2020. The new pool will have a 25-yard, six-lane lap pool, a family leisure pool, a splash pad, a snack bar and ample shaded patio areas. Plans and specifications for the new facility will be available to preview.

The pool reconstruction is being funded by proceeds from the sale of the Eisenhower golf course in 2016.
